Let’s transform your raw videos and photos into a story that will help you achieve your fundraising goals. We’ll create what you need to powerfully connect with your audience by sharing a testimonial, making an appeal, or thanking them for their support.

 

What You Get

You can choose from two different fundraising video packages. Your options include:

  • Video up to 1’30 minutes or up to three minutes (.mp4)

  • Professionally-edited single or split-screen video

  • IGTV cover for videos at least one minute long

  • YouTube video thumbnail

  • YouTube end screen/animated outro

  • Customized end card for general use

  • Photo and text animations

  • Subtitled captions of video dialogue

  • Royalty-free audio track

  • Optional voiceover recording of up to 100 words of copy per minute

  • Option to include complimentary stock videos and/or photos

  • Editing of your raw video and/or photos using Adobe Creative Suite

  • One round of revisions

  • 5-7 day turnaround

What We Need

We need you to provide:

  • Your primary videos and/or photos: around 1-3 minutes of video and/or 5-20 photos that reflect you or your organization; e.g. individual testimonials, archival performance footage, etc.

  • Your B-roll videos and/or photos: around 1-2 minutes of secondary videos and/or 5-20 photos that support or compliment your primary content; e.g. video of testimonial artist performing, behind-the-scenes photos, etc. We can also supplement with complimentary stock videos and photos.

  • Your logo and/or promotional photo for all video art

  • Any copy you would like to include as a voiceover and/or captions - up to 100 words per minute of video

  • If desired, your audio track - otherwise we will provide royalty-free audio

  • A brief questionnaire to help us understand your campaign goals and video preferences

Please upload all of your files to your preferred file sharing service (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer). When you add the fundraising video package to your cart in our shop, you’ll be prompted to fill out the questionnaire and provide a link to your shared files.

Our Process

ABSORB. The first thing we do is read your questionnaire responses and take a look at all your shared files to get to know who you are and what your fundraising campaign is all about. If we have any questions or need clarification, we’ll email you.

PLAY. We start playing around with how we can arrange and finesse your videos and photos to tell a powerful story to your audience. We consider layouts, animations, sound, color, and light.

PREP. Depending on the preferences you shared in your questionnaire, we go into our booth and professionally-record your copy into a voiceover track. We might also treasure hunt some stock video clips and images that will compliment the material you gave us.

EDIT. This is where the magic happens! All of your materials meet ours inside the Adobe Creative Suite world and we create a video that tells the story of who you are, why you matter, and how people can help you.

DESIGN. We craft all of the art elements, including your end card and any video covers and thumbnails, specifically for you. The art is inspired by your brand, the nature of your campaign, and the vibe of the fundraising video.

REVIEW. Once we complete the video within 5-7 days, we’ll share a draft with you. You’ll let us know if you’d like to make any changes, we’ll make the updates, and you’ll have a beautiful new fundraising video to share with the world!

The Quick Appeal is for fundraising videos up to 1’30 minutes long. This package is best suited for short individual testimonials, campaign updates, and targeted thank you videos.

The Heartstring Tug is for fundraising videos up to three minutes long. This package is best suited for launching or ending your campaign, telling your story and situation, sharing a message from multiple members of your team, and thanking all of your donors.

  • Professionally-edited single or split-screen video

  • IGTV cover

  • YouTube video thumbnail

  • YouTube end screen/animated outro

  • Customized end card for general use

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need certain video or image file types?

Not at all! We can work with any video or image file type. We only ask that you provide the highest quality video and/or images available to you.

What should be in my photos?

If you decide to use photos in your video, they should help tell your story in some way. For example, if your primary video is of an artist’s testimonial, photos of them in action or behind the scenes are a great way to compliment and enrich the story being told. If you’d like to focus on the organization, a combination of professional promotional photos and candid shots of employees together work well to help the viewer get to know you.

What if I need more than one round of revisions?

Your fundraising video package includes one round of edits free of charge. If you would like to make additional edits, we can absolutely do so at the rate of $50/hour. Before we do the work, we’ll give you an estimate of how long we think it will take us.

What guidelines should I give to someone filming a testimonial?

Although we can work our magic with a wide range of videos, here are some guidelines that we’ve found produce the best testimonial videos:

  • If filming on a phone, use the main camera lens, not the selfie lens

  • We can work with horizontal or vertical footage, but filming horizontally gives us the most editing flexibility

  • Ensure you are well-lit by facing a window or indoor light source and avoid having a light source directly behind you

  • Record in a clean and quiet area with minimal visual distractions and background noise

  • If possible, record at a minimum of 1080p (HD video) at 30 fps (frames per second)

  • Aim to talk for about two to three minutes, unscripted and from the heart; talk about your story and situation, and close with a call to action

Do you offer a discount on the purchase of multiple videos?

Absolutely! If you would like to create three or more videos for your fundraising campaign, please get in touch with us at troberts@tanyarobertscreative.com. Let us know your campaign video needs, and we’ll let you know your discount.

How will you get the final video to me?

We’ll use the same file sharing platform that you used to share your files to deliver your new fundraising video.

Do I need to credit you when I use the video?

While we always love a shout out, you’re under no obligation to credit us when you share your new video. We only ask that you don’t go the other direction and mistakenly mislead others to think that someone else created your video. We do reserve the right to include your video in our portfolio as an example of our work.
