What You Get
You can choose from four different virtual performance packages. Your video editing packages include:

What We Need
We need you to provide:
Your raw video files
Your backing and/or audio track, if applicable
Your score and/or script, if applicable
At least one promotional photo and/or logo that we can incorporate into your video art
Any copy or images that you would like to include in the video
A brief questionnaire to help us understand your virtual performance needs
Please upload all of your files to your preferred file sharing service (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer). When you add a virtual performance video package to your cart in our shop, you’ll be prompted to fill out the questionnaire and provide a link to your shared files.

Our Process
ABSORB. The first thing we do is read your questionnaire responses and take a look at all your shared files to get to know who you are and what your virtual performance is all about. If we have any questions or need clarification, we’ll email you.
STORYBOARD. We start thinking about how we can structure your video to make your performance as impactful as possible. If there is music, we always let the music inform and inspire the structure. Once we have an idea of the architecture of your video, we create a storyboard with your video plan.
CHECK. Before we start video editing, we check in with you and make sure you’re in love with our vision as well. We’ll send you the storyboard within 7 days, wait with bated breath for your feedback, and make any adjustments to the plan as required.
EDIT. This is where the magic happens! All of your files meet inside the Adobe Creative Suite world and we create a virtual performance fit for the digital world stage.
DESIGN. We craft all of the art elements, including your end card and any video covers and thumbnails, specifically for you. The art is inspired by your vibe and brand and the nature of the virtual performance.
REVIEW. Once we complete the video within an additional 7 days, we’ll share a draft with you. You’ll let us know if you’d like to make any changes, we’ll make the updates, and you’ll have a beautiful new virtual performance to share with the world!

The Intimate Virtual - $250
For virtual performances with up to five video streams
This package is ideal for duos, trios, quartets and quintets, as well as small numbers and scenes from operas, plays, dances and musicals.
The Chamber Virtual - $450
For virtual performances with up to 16 video streams
This package is ideal for chamber vocal, instrumental, and dance ensembles, as well as numbers and scenes from operas and musicals with principles and a small ensemble.
The Full-Bodied Virtual - $900
For virtual performances with up to 32 video streams
This package is ideal for chamber orchestras and choirs, as well as numbers and scenes from operas, plays, dances and musicals with principles and a medium-sized ensemble.
The Blockbuster Virtual - $1500
For virtual performances with up to 50 video streams
This package is ideal for symphony orchestras and large choirs, and numbers and scenes from operas, dances, plays and musicals with principles and a large ensemble.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have any tips for using a click or backing track for a virtual musical performance?
If you use a backing track, it is very helpful to us if you add a count-in before the music begins. Please have your performers either speak or clap at the same point in the count-in. This aids us in lining up all of your videos correctly. Please also make sure that the track cannot be heard in the video recording by playing it through headphones. Many performers prefer using earbuds, with one in-ear and the other in its case. We will layer in the backing track during the editing process.
Do you need certain video file types?
Not at all! We can work with any video file type. We only ask that you provide the highest quality video available to you. Filming at a minimum of 1080p (HD video) at 30 fps (frames per second) is recommended.
What if I need a video with more than 50 video streams?
We’ll make it happen! If you need help with editing a virtual performance with over 50 video streams, please contact us directly at troberts@tanyarobertscreative.com. Let us know what you need and we’ll let you know how much it will cost.
What if I need more than two rounds of revisions?
Two rounds of edits are included free of charge in your virtual performance video package. If you require more revisions, we can happily do so at the rate of $50/hour. Before we do the work, we’ll give you an estimate of how long we think it will take us.
Do I need to credit you when I share the video?
While we always love a shout out, you’re under no obligation to credit us when you share your new virtual performance. We only ask that you don’t go the other direction and mistakenly mislead others to think that someone else created your video. We do reserve the right to include your video in our portfolio as an example of our work.
What if I need help with a video that is over five minutes long?
We can help you out! If you’re anticipating a virtual performance that is longer than five minutes, please contact us at troberts@tanyarobertscreative.com. Let us know what you’ve got in mind, and we’ll let you know how much it will cost.
What guidelines should I give to someone filming a virtual performance?
Although we can work our magic with a wide range of videos, here are some guidelines that we’ve found produce the best virtual performances:
If filming on a phone, use the main camera lens, not the selfie lens
We can work with horizontal or vertical footage, but filming horizontally gives us the most editing flexibility
Ensure you are well-lit by facing a window or indoor light source and avoid having a light source directly behind you
Record in a clean and quiet area with minimal visual distractions and background noise
If possible, record at a minimum of 1080p (HD video) at 30 fps (frames per second)
If the performance is musical and involves singing or playing with a click/backing track, make sure that the track cannot be heard in the video by playing it through headphones
How will you get the video to me?
We’ll use the same file sharing platform that you used to share your files to deliver your new virtual performance video.
